Touma NJIE & Kebba Jallow
The High Court granted the injunction filed by Fatoumatta Touma Njie against the People’s Progressive Party [PPP].
The interim injunction lasts for 7 days and it has restrained the present leadership of PPP from parading himself as the leader of the party; restrained the IEC from dealing with any of the leaders of the party at the moment; and restrained the PPP from dismissing Touma pending the hearing and determination of the suit.
The decision was taken on Thursday [today]after Njie filed an injunction at the court following a fallout with the party.
