Overview
The Kambi Bolong lodge is a newly developing lodge catering for developing tourist market in The Gambia. It is about an hours drive from the main tourist hotels and a short boat ride to most of the roots historical sights on the majestic river Gambia, making it an ideal place to visit. Most of our unique tours offered to the visitors reflects on the daily activities of the indigenous river life in and around the creeks.
We are located in one of the most beautiful corners of the country with lots to see and experience on the banks of the river. Part of the magic is experiencing the forest cover, mangrove swamps and the creeks that surround the Kambi Bolong Lodge. This unique blend of nature attracts a wide variety of animals, including a huge variety of bird species to the area, thus making making it a must visit for the regular adventurer visitor, as well as the laid back stroller.
You can also spend a whole day exploring the surrounding waters or forest, or even camp for the night in this peaceful section of The Gambia, to experience the sounds of life at it was in the beginning of time.
