Crotone has announced the arrival in rossoblu of Musa Juwara. The 2001 class Gambian player comes from Bologna on loan with an option and counter-option for buying to enrich the attacking lineup available to head coach Mister Modesto Serse Cosmi.

An official statement by the Calabrian club says: “The Football Club Crotone announces that it has acquired right to the sports performance of Musa Juwara from the Football Club Bologna 1909, with the right of option and counter-option for buying“.

Born on December 26, 2001, in Tujereng (Gambia), Musa Juwara was discovered by the Amateurs of Virtus Avigliano and subsequently bought by Chievo Verona in 2017.

The following year, he made his debut with the Clivensi in Serie A and then moved to Bologna in 2019, where he showed off by scoring one of the two goals in the challenge won at the San Siro against Inter.

Last season he wore the shirts of Bologna and Boavista, now he is ready for the new adventure with the sharks.

Juwara is part of the Gambia national team with which he made his debut when he was just 18 years old. With the Scorpions, Juwara will take part in the African Cup of Nations for the first time in history.

“Musa Juwara is a speedy and skilled player in accelerations and dribbling. Musa can act on both bands and is also equipped with a powerful shot. Welcome to the Crotone family, Musa!” Crotone’s statement reads.
