President Barrow declares May 1st Public Holiday
State House, Banjul, 30th April 2021: The Office of the President wishes to inform the General Public that His Excellency President Adama Barrow, acting under section 76 of the 1997 Constitution of the Republic of The Gambia, is pleased to declare Saturday 1st May 2021 as a Public Holiday throughout The Gambia, in observance of International Workers’ Day.
His Excellency wishes the exceptional men and women in the civil service and all other workers in The Gambia a happy International Workers’ Day.
