Seedy Njie hasn’t appointed as IEC vice chair, Gov’t Spokesperson Clarifies

Ebrima G. Sankareh, the spokesman of The Gambia government has dismissed rumours making rounds on social media that Seedy Njie, former nominated National Assembly in Yahya Jammeh government has been appointed vice chairman of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) to replace Malleh Sallah who is going on retirement.

Sankareh has made it clear to The Point that the report is false.
