Banks scrap Saturday operations due to covid-19

The association took this decision in consultation with the Central Bank of The Gambia.

The association also informed that working times for the banks have also been changed in respect of the curfew. Now, all banks will commence work from 8:00 a.m. and close at 3:00 p.m., from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, banks will open from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., starting Monday 10 August 2020.

The association therefore apologises for any inconvenience these changes may cause.
