Overview
The Ministry of Finance is headed by the Honorable Minister of Finance who is deputized by two Permanent Secretaries.
The Ministry currently has five Directorates, each headed by a Director. These are: National Treasury, Budget Management, Aid Coordination, Debt Management, and Economic Management and Planning.
The Ministry also has six other semi autonomous agencies, including the Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA), which is responsible for collection of tax and some non tax revenues as required by law; the Gambia Bureau of Statistics (GBoS); the Gambia Public Procurement Authority (GPPA); the Gambia Divestiture Agency (GDA); the Gambia Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (GPURA) and the Asset Management and Recovery Commission (AMRC).
