The Independent Electoral Commission hereby notify the general public that having the requirements for registration under section 105 of the Electoral Act 2009 (as amended), a new party called National Unity Party (NUP); has this 5th day of October, 2020 been duly registered as bona fide party.”
Ousman Jammeh has been named the party leader; with a secretariat at 32A Brusubi Phase II, West Coast Region.
The party’s colours are Orange and White diagonally from top left to right with white on top.
The party’s symbol is tractor and plant stalks with ‘Unity is Strength’ as its motto.
