PRESS RELEASE : THANKS AND APPRECIATION
The management and staff of SEEDS Academy wish to express their profound thanks and appreciation to all those who participated in the much awaited Women’s Football Festival which was successfully held on Sunday, November 29, 2020.
The event was not only memorable but life changing for all those who graced and witnessed it.
We can’t thank the Gambia Football Federation enough through the Women Football Department which was ably represented by Sainey Sissoho Mboge and Aisha Fatima Veronic Malack. Their presence and participation in the festival was both an inspiration and motivation to all the girls who participated in the event.
The presence of the executive members of Kombo Central II Sport Committee led by President Alieu Badara Jarju went on to demonstrate the endorsement and willingness of the committee to promote and empower women in sports especially football.
We are also grateful to Ensa Sambou, West Coast Regional Football Association Coach as well as Adama Jarju, West Coast Regional Football Association Women’s Football Coordinator for being there throughout the day.
To all the participating teams and communities, Red Scorpions, Kinteh’s FC, Cobblers of Penyem, KTP Manduar and SEEDS Academy, we are grateful for your participation and the bonds of love and friendship shared and shown throughout. The spirit of love, friendship and camaraderie is what is needed to move the game forward.
