Gambian international striker, Ali Sowe has been rewarded for his fine performances last month as he was voted player of the month (November) in Bulgaria. The 26-year-old attacker, played three times in the Bulgarian top league in the month of November, scoring two times (against Montana and CSKA 1948) together with one assist.
The former Gamtel striker also scored for CSKA Sofia’s 5-0 Bulgarian cup victory against Botev Ihtiman.
This is the second time for the Serekunda-born player is winning such an award in Bulgaria
Meanwhile, Ali Sowe has been with the Bulgarian club CSKA Sofia since the summer of 2018, when he arrived from Chievo, initially on loan, before the deal was made permanent in 2019, following his satisfactory performances.
The forward racked up 14 goals in 30 appearances to help the Bulgarian Army Stadium outfit finish second in the league and secure a Europa League ticket.
Sowe who became professional player in 2013, has scored 11 goals in 24 appearances across all competitions for CSKA Sofia in the 2020-21 season.
He has so far scored over 60 professional career goals since becoming professional player in 2013, though he was mostly loan out to several clubs by parent club Chievo before his permanently signing by CSKA Sofia.
