Italian Seria D L’Aquila 1902 Montevarchi has on Thursday announced an agreement to continue with Gambian striker Sulayman Jallow in Lega Pro. This means a new journey with Jallow, who was also the top scorer of the team in Group E in last Serie D dominated by the rossoblu.

Born in The Gambia in 1996, Sulayman Jallow landed in Italy after a journey of hope for the better through the Libyan desert before landing in Lampedusa. The Gambian striker who, as a child, dreamed of emulating Cristiano Ronaldo was the authentic revelation of the past Italian championship.

In Montevarchi, thanks to the intuition of the technical director Rosadini, the counseling of Mr. Malotti, and the trust of the team’s management and his teammates, “Sole” was able to best express his potential as a goalscorer by netting 21 times in 33 games, not to mention the numerous assists he provided to his colleagues in the attacking compartment.

In Serie C, Sulayman Jallow had already played in Viterbo, Gubbio, and Cuneo. Before the call of the Valdarnese association, he had been in force at Milan City. In addition to making the Montevarchi attack more interesting, his confirmation will certainly be greeted with satisfaction by the Aquilotta fans.
