Visiting the uprising famous facility, AbCa’s Creek Lodge, where you can experience traditional way of living and see the amazing nature of the inlands, during the just concluding phase I of the tourism facilities tour across the country, the Minister of Tourism and Culture Hamat Bah rated AbCa’s Creek Lodge among the high ranking lodges and accommodation in Europe and other parts of the world.
After a well conducted tour of other facilities available at the creek lodge, he said the rooms are comparable to those in Europe “and coming up with this product and improved over the years, really adds value to the available facilities and tourism in the destination.”
Being one of the best upcountry facilities especially now that the Ministry of Tourism and Culture is working rigorously to promote domestic tourism, the Minister said as government they will continue to give them more technical advice.
“Just like other places, we will continue to encourage people to come here and spend time and weekends with their family, friends and for companies/institutions to have their conferences here because it is a perfect environment with quality facilities and natural endowment. It adds values to our environment,” Minister of Tourism and Culture endorsed.
Minister Bah who considered good delivery and quality as major keys of service in the industry commended the management of AbCa’s for using local and quality materials for both interior and exterior decorations of the lodge.
Encouraging stakeholders in the region in respect of tourism and culture, the Minister disclosed his Ministry’s intention of training of youth of the region to engage them locally so that they can develop themselves.
Added further that “these are what we want to promote to improve – the quality of our products so that we can sell better and make better money for reinvestment for the proprietors. “We are extremely impressed and pleased.”
Minister Bah who couldn’t hide his joy over the place prayed for the couples that established and owned the place.
