Falcons FC Joint Leaders In 1st Division League

Unbeaten after three matches played in the first division league, the Blue Army Falcons FC have continued their second division momentum into the top tier league, pocketing 7 points out of a possible 9. 

The first division debutant shone again after beating the Academy Boys Samger FC by a goal to nil. They secured the maximum 3 points courtesy of Alieu Jammeh in the 14th minute. The win saw them register their second clean sheet of the season

The Whites Real de Banjul FC, Hawks FC, and Waa Banjul FC are three other teams yet to taste defeat. They are joint leaders on 7 points.

Real de Banjul sit on top of the table on goal difference after defeating Gamtel 2-1. Goals in the 16 and 86 minutes were scored by Kajally Drammeh and Sambou Jallow respectively.  Hawks FC in the other match beat Team Rhino 1-0 on Sunday.

Meanwhile, three teams—Wallidan, Waa Banjul and Brikama United– are yet to concede a goal, while Samger, Team Rhino and Brikama United are yet to register a goal.

Samger, Brikama United, Marimoo FC, Team Rhino FC and Banjul United are still winless. Banjul United are yet to secure a point.
