Mission
To Promote and protect the health of the population by providing a comprehensive healthcare package in partnership with all relevant stakeholders; ensure high coverage of basic healthcare services; achieve staff training and retention; ensure a reduction of maternal and infant mortality and morbidity; ensure reduction of communicable and non-communicable diseases; strengthen and support Health Communication Programmes; ensure reduction in the frequency of environmental health and safety related problems and diseases; and establish a mechanism for health services financing risk protection for all.
