Sainey Jawo and Mbye Babou Jarra are back to their international duties after being stranded in Gambia for 180 days.
The duo were invited for national duties in February to face South Sudan in the Olympic beach volleyball qualifiers little did they know that they will spend the next 6 months in The Gambia as Covid19 pandemic continue to ravage the globe.
The African Champions are back to their base in Qatar on Monday to continue on their international duties with club Al Sadd SC.
The Gambia national beach volleyball team currently are strong favorites to win the continental cup, ticket for the reschedule Tokyo Games in 2021.
