Two New COVID-19 Cases Registered, No New Death

The Gambia has over the weekend registered two (2) new cases of Covid 19 bringing the total number of cases ever confirmed in the country to nine thousand, nine hundred and forty-one.

One tested for reasons of traveling, while the other to determine covid-19 related death.

The positivity test rate is 0.29. Four (4) cases are currently on oxygen therapy.

No new COVID-19-related death was registered, the total number of deaths remains at three hundred and thirty-nine.

This is the 384th national situation report since the confirmation of the first case of the coronavirus disease

(COVID-19) in The Gambia, on the 16th March 2020.

Two cases were newly discharged from the treatment centres, and one after at least 10 days from the day they tested positive, but evaded institutional isolation.
