Ambassador Paschall Briefs Foreign Minister on New Administration’s Actions
On Friday morning January 22, Ambassador Paschall briefed Foreign Minister Dr. Momodou Tangara on President Biden’s Executive Actions on the World Health Organization and other aspects of the global COVID-19 battle, border security, and rejoining the Paris Climate Accords. Dr. Tangara welcomed the discussion and asked the Ambassador to convey to President Biden and Vice President Harris the congratulations and well wishes from Gambian President Barrow and Vice President Touray. He stated The Gambia is eager to renew and strengthen the already excellent bilateral relationship. The Ministry looks forward to continued robust engagement with the United States throughout the Biden administration.
