ANOTHER GREAT LOSS TO THE POLITICAL COMMUNITY

The Gambia Action Party under the leadership of Hon Musa Ousainou Yali Batchilly, wish to extend our deepest condolences to the family of the late Soumaila Cisse of Union for the Republic and Democracy, the government of Mali and the entire nation on the passing of another great son of Africa. As sadness engulfs the political community in Mali and around the world, may the Almighty, the Omnipotent and Omnipresent Allah grant him Jannatul Fiirdaous.

Prior to the registration of the Gambia Action Party, Soumaila was in close contact with the Secretary General & Party Leader of GAP, Hon Musa Ousainou Yali Batchilly and this led to his visit to Mali in 2018 during the presidential campaign en route to the Mali’s election. He was instrumental in GAP’s build up and this led to the partnership between Union for the Republic and Democracy and the Gambia Action Party which is in existence still.

We join the mourners around the globe as the great man begins the eternal journey that spares no living being. May his soul finds eternal glory and mercy, ameen.
