Chellaram and Sons Ltd. established its business in the capital Banjul, The Gambia, back in 1958. Its main business activities are as agent importers & distributors for branded supermarket products in West Africa. We import and distribute Fast Moving Consumer Goods from the leading MNC’s. Our customers include Gambia’s hotels, guest houses, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores as well as the general trade. We have our own fleet of vehicles that make deliveries. On a daily basis they are routed to the metropolitan areas in Greater Banjul as well as to the remote interior of the country.The firm is a full-service providers of dry, chilled and frozen foods, beverages, personal care products and household goods. Chellaram has witnessed incredible developments in the Gambia’s cultural and political history and the company’s long-term strategy for the country is grounded in its breadth of local experience and understanding.
