Overview
Set on the beautiful wide sandy beach of Kotu, you will find Kombo Beach Hotel, a popular and lively hotel with a great range of facilities, excellent cuisine, entertainment and true Gambian hospitality.
Our well-established hotel benefits from a superb beachfront setting at Kotu, with free sunloungers and parasols for our guests, both by the fresh water swimming pool, with separate children’s pool, as well as on the beach. There are three restaurants to choose from, all with terraces overlooking the ocean, plus four bars, three of which are situated around the pool, and another by the beach. The entertainment team is always on hand with a variety of daytime activities and evening entertainment, and our friendly and helpful staff will soon make you feel at home.
Providing an extensive choice of facilities, this is an ideal hotel for all manner of holidaymakers, whether you’re looking for a relaxing escape or an active holiday.
As well as being an ideal leisure hotel, Kombo Beach is the perfect choice for the business traveller. Further facilities include an internet corner with Wi-Fi, laundry service, massage and beauty salon, gym, mini market, tennis courts, gift shop, beach/pool towel service, health clinic and lush tropical gardens.
Free Wi-Fi zones can be found in the hotel reception, the Kudula Restaurant and around the pool; in the rooms Wi-Fi is also available at a small surcharge.
Each year refurbishments take place, and, during the summer of 2016, all our superior rooms were updated and enlarged, now offering 3sqm more bedroom space than the standard rooms and a larger balcony. Also, all bathrooms were completely refitted. 11 new premium rooms were created and the Barracuda Beach Bar was further improved. All rooms were fitted with a new 32 inch LED TV and we started replacing energy saving bulbs to LED bulbs throughout the hotel.
