Mourinho to Roma’s Ebrima Darbo: “Ey…, Wake up, F****!”

Just one missed quick pass, and it was enough for As Roma’s young Gambian international, Ebrima Darboe, to taste Jose Mourinho’s fury.

Mourinho did not like a decision in the game, made by the great promise of Roma, who yesterday played a starter in the friendly against Debrecen.

Darboe was wrong to rush into a ball from a foul and ended up giving the ball to the opponents. Mourinho reacted to that bad decision and yelled at him from the band: “Hello, Darboe! Wake up now for once, fuck! Come on!”.

If anything, Ebrima Darboe could certainly understand that to convince Jose Mourinho is never a done deal.

The Roman team thrashed Debrecen (5-2) with Borja Mayoral, Pellegrini, Zaniolo, and double from Dzeko.

Despite the “manita” (little hand), Jose Mourinho did not like certain aspects of the game.

Debrecen led on the scoreboard in the 4th minute after Barany’s goal.

Jose Mourinho also rose from his bench with a serious gesture when Debrecen scored its second goal in the 53?, through the great work of Ugrai.

Darboe’s pass error came at 3-1 on the scoreboard and just before half-time. The young footballer, who was a starter, entered the carousel of changes prepared by Mourinho for the second half and was one of the ten substitutions made by the Portuguese at half-time.

A preseason of victories

Mourinho’s Roma is still in tune, and of the four friendlies they have played this summer, they have won all the matches. The next two preparatory commitments before the start of Serie A will be of the utmost demand.

On July 28, Roma plays against Porto and on August 7 against Betis.
