WATCH: How Wague Became the Youngest African GoalScorerer in World Cup History

Moussa Wague became the youngest African goalscorer in FIFA World Cup history when he scored in Senegal’s 2-2 draw against Japan two years ago.

Aged 19 years at the time, Wague fired the Teranga Lions in front with 71 minutes on the clock, but Keisuke Honda hit back for the Japanese as they claimed a share of the spoils.

Unfortunately for Senegal they created a piece of unwanted history at the 2018 showpiece in Russia, as they subsequently became the first team ever to be eliminated from the World Cup on the fair play rule.
