West Ham target Omar Colley allegedly has his ‘suitcases packed’ and is ready to leave Sampdoria according to a report from Calcio Mercato.

The Hammers may now have to pay around GBP8-10 million for the 28-year-old center-back (Calcio Mercato).

La Repubblica claimed yesterday that West Ham and Leeds are both keen to sign the 24-capped Gambia international.

And with Calcio Mercato now claiming that Colley is ready to leave Sampdoria, the Hammers should not hesitate to sign him. Especially for the reported fee of GBP8-10 million!

West Ham must wrap up Omar Colley deal asap

David Moyes is desperate to bring a top-class center-back to the London Stadium this summer.

Fabian Balbuena has already left on a free. Meanwhile, Angelo Ogbonna and Craig Dawson are on the wrong side of 33 and 31 respectively. Colley would be a truly brilliant addition to the Hammers squad.

With his powerful and imposing physique, the 6ft 3in center-back seems to be ideally suited to the robust nature of the Premier League. He is experienced and battle-hardened.

In 29 Serie A appearances for Sampdoria last season, Colley averaged one tackle, 2.3 interceptions, 4.6 clearances, and one block per game. He has also won an average of 2.6 aerial duals per match (Who Scored).

Signing Colley for around GBP9 million would be absolutely incredible value for the Hammers.

And Moyes bringing the Gambian to the London Stadium seems like an absolute no-brainer at this point.
